Float charge life: When the front-terminal lead-acid battery is operated at an appropriate float charge voltage, it can achieve a long life. Generally speaking, the normal float life can reach 5 to 10 years. Float life refers to the time that the battery can still work normally under the condition of low load and maintaining the state of charge of the battery.
Cycle Life: Cycle life is the ability of a battery to maintain a specified level of performance after numerous charge and discharge cycles. For front-terminal lead-acid batteries, the cycle life is typically between 300 and 600 complete charge and discharge cycles, depending on the design and conditions of use of the battery. Cycle life can be extended with proper charge management and proper depth of discharge.
